Portland Does Hold Music Right
“Should you make a call to a City bureau and be put on hold for a moment or transferred to another department, you will now be treated to the delightful sounds of local musicians,” according to a press release from the City of Portland. They call it Listen Local and the press release goes on to say, “every quarter the City phone lines will feature 15 different pieces of music by local musicians covering as broad a range of styles as possible.”
